DayApril 7, 2007

Feel the takeover. Let it sink into your veins. Let it burn until it drives us all insane.

I haven’t listened to music for two weeks, until now. Most wouldn’t believe that. I hardly believe it. How did I survive these two weeks? Maybe I didn’t. It’s getting harder and harder to wake up every morning. I wake up and pretend to go through the motions. Too many times these past two weeks I found myself going to David’s house and either talking, watching movies, or clicking around on the computer. Nothing exciting. But I preferred it to going to school.

My mother already got my graduation present. The “F3” (Family of 3) will be going to Hawaii the day after graduation. From June 22nd to June 29th we’ll be there doing fun stuff under the sun. My mother’s been to Hawaii already. So, we’re going to Hawaii because “the children” haven’t gone… but I’m more of a New York type of gal. That’s beside the point, though, right? Supposedly it’s “our last vacation together as the F3.” I think she’s glad to get rid of me for a while. Hah.

I have figured that in order to accomplish my 150 Movies in 2007 I need to watch 12.5 movies a month. By the end of this month I need to have watched 50 movies. Thus far I’ve watched 46. And I have all of April left. And all three movies I watched today used the date November 14. ALL OF THEM. That freaked me out. The movies were Capote, Black Dahlia, and Awakenings. :0 Shocking!!

I find that I’m most comfortable being myself with my 11 year old brother. I sense something wrong with that. Actually, I’ve got a great sense of humor, but only with my family. I love being able to make them laugh. I love it that they make me laugh. Where’s the fun in my life? I think I’ve been dead for two weeks and only now realizing it. A false epiphany, maybe.

A five minute hiatus. I return with my face washed and I feel as though I can breathe again. Well, the pores of my face, anyway. If only face wash could cleanse the soul. Wouldn’t that be something!

Hopelessly blissful and blind to all I am.

P.S. This melodramatic post makes me laugh. && Spring break began today.

P.P.S. In a few short days I’ve seen members of the cast of The L Word in random shows and movies. I looove it that I recognize them. I freaking love The L Word. “Max” (Daniela Sea) in the movie Shortbus on April 4, “Jodi” (Marlee Matlin) as I was flipping channels [maybe it was Law and Order SVU “Painless” episode] yesterday, and “Jenny” (Mia Kirshner) as Elizabeth Short in Black Dahlia, today.
