I had my appointment with Alfredo this morning. Cray-cray status. I won’t discuss; I don’t feel like it. There are more pressing matters to discuss.
I will be leaving tonight at 8pm back home (LA) with a bunch of other people from Associated Students because there is a UC Regents meeting tomorrow at UCLA. Instead of staying at the hotel with a bunch of other people (I am so not down for that), my mom will pick both me and David up near UCLA by the hotel that the other people are staying. In the morning, David’s sister will take us to UCLA for the Regents meeting. Basically, the discussion will be about the budget for California and how that affects fees for the UCs.
I’ll miss two classes, but that’s OK. I’m down. Anyway, we’ll be back around 3pm tomorrow… and the most exciting news is to come!
Hillary Clinton will be on campus tomorrow at 6:30PM in the Robinson Gym! UCSB has the nation’s highest voter turnout out of all the universities! W00t w00t!!
Geeeez, I love financial and political issues. Though, not enough to change my major to Poli-Sci. ^_^; I still like mental medical shitz way better. Haha.
And I officially looooove RSS Feeds. I’m officially addicted.

That’s part of something Hillary Clinton said at the debate in Las Vegas tonight. I’m so interested in politics lately. I guess that it’s natural considering the primaries are happening right now, and in a few months we will get to vote for our next president. I’m really glad that I get to vote so quickly after being able to (due to age). It’s all too exciting.
Hm, tomorrow night I’m going to a UC Regents meeting at UCLA. We’re all leaving at 8:00PM from UCSB and most of the people are going to stay in a hotel that they’ve gotten, but David and I are just going to go home for the night and then go back to UCLA in the morning at 8am. Exciting!
The University of California is governed by The Regents, a 26-member board, as established under Article IX, Section 9 of the California Constitution. The board appoints the President of the University and the principal officers of The Regents: the General Counsel, the Treasurer, and the Secretary.
Jeffrey Eugenides lectured at UCSB tonight, and I attended. After his very amusing lecture (he’s a funny guy!) people asked questions. When that was all done there was a book signing, and I got a copy of Middlesex signed with my name & all. Ballin’! (:
Wellllll… I have homework to attend to now! And I feel like watching some movie or other at the moment, if I have time.

I watched that last night in the cabin after the others had gone to sleep. Facebook was being advertised as a means of voicing opinions about the debates. So, I got on Facebook and voted in some polls and wrote some messages… and then I got personally attacked for not liking Obama. Lolol. I basically said he’s the worst speaker in the bunch (he really is…) and then some guy said:
haha awful speaker? thats why his DNC address is one of the greatest speeches in recent political history. Blind attacks that have no substance behind them other then a preference for another candidate are worthless. If you feel He is a horrible speaker then show us an example. If you feel someone else is better then tell me who and why you feel that way.
I am hoping they taught you how to form an analytical argument at UCSB?
Lmao, personal attacks<3 It’s really funny. I’m not going to reply because that was yesterday’s thing. It’s a new day. ): It’d look like I was replying too late. Hahah…
Well, we just came from a walk in the snow. One long block to a convenient store and then one long block back… Our attire was completely covered in snow and those of us with bangs suddenly had white hair. XD; It was awesome.
Now, Alba is making pancakes and eggs or somethin’… I dunno. It’s been a wonderful day today! Meme woke me up sometime after 7am to tell me it was snowing and it’d be a great time to take photos. And then I see Uncle George come into my bedroom saying he already took photos! Hah, when we were walkie talkie-ing I told him it’d be a competition since we both have the DSLRs. ^_^; He was rubbing it in that he already took a lot, but whatever. I got dressed and took some really nice photos!
Argh, they’re talking about movies on the news… more movies have come out this weekend. I can’t believe my list of movies to watch is getting bigger and bigger. >_>; Whyy?
Okay, pancakes are ready!! Gonna eat now.
Oh em gee… I might get back to UCSB really late tonight. I’m going to be so tired tomorrow. Ah, such is life.
